Student work: This position is responsible for working with a Senior 24/7 Ops IT Operator or 24/7 Ops IT Operator to support a portfolio of IT Operation related tasks such as: Daily, Weekly and Monthly computer schedules, Systems and Infrastrucure Monitoring, Data backups, Out of working hours IT Service Desk support, Back-office tasks. This role is responsible for ensuring that the batch schedule is completed on time and a smooth hand over is made between the shifts.
Working hours: min 20 hours a week (daytime), for at least 1 year
Start: as soon as possible
Place of work: Budapest 11th district, home office is provided after the training period but weekly office appearance is important (hybrid work schedule)
Salary: 2 300 HUF/hour
Responsibilities:
- Monitor critical IT systems and enviroments and ensures their availability. If there are any issues these are escalated to the relevant support group or vendor in a timely manner
- Monitor the Global infrastructure as Servers, DCs, LAN/WAN to detect any issues and ensure a timely resolution
- Monitor and react to SAP Redwood job and schedule failures
- Provide problem resolution/escalation for all issue impacting the batch schedule, overall systems operation of the infrastructure
- Management of operations tasks to achieve a timely completion of all activities and a smooth handover to the next shift
- Provide IT Service Desk support: back office tasks and out of hours calls and tickets
- Monitoring of the UK Data Centre environmental to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Key Performance Indicators:
- Quality check – Alert Response time, Ticket documentation, Procedure follow
Requirements:
You are the perfect candidate if you:
- Active full-time student status in Hungary (before 25 years you can be passive student too) for at least 1 year
- General IT knowledge
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Basic knowledge of the schedules and scheduling systems across the many systems and platforms
- Basic knowledge of the IT Service Desk systems and procedures
- A working knowledge of Windows Systems and LAN/WAN Infrastructure
- A Good knowledge of the Help Desk system and procedures
- Routine Problem Solving skills – Requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience.
- Able to work at least 20 hours weekly
